Underwear. It's special. Special feel. Special aroma. Because, when people wear it, the fabric touches their junk.

According to Denver District Attorney, Juan Cerezo-Flores, 45, has an appreciation for these qualities -- especially when the underwear in question belongs to someone else. He's been charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespass owing to an incident in East Denver. A homeowner called the cops after seeing a light on that should have been extinguished -- and before officers arrived, a man was seen climbing out a bedroom window. Cerezo-Flores was arrested nearby a short while later. In the meantime, the resident had discovered a pile of unmentionables on the bed. Time for some new panties, I'd say.

Look below for the Denver DA office's press release about this no-longer-so-secret passion.

MAN CHARGED IN BURGLARY

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has formally charged a 45-year-old man accused of breaking into a home in east Denver and going through a victim's underwear drawer.

Juan Cerezo-Flores (dob: 12/27/1964) is charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespass.

On July 24, 2009, the victim returned home and noticed lights on that should have been off. The victim and another family member called police and while waiting for officers to respond they saw someone climbing out a bedroom window. Police arrested Cerezo-Flores nearby; inside the home they found clothing drawers had been opened and undergarments had been piled on a bed.

Cerezo has been released from custody on a $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court, room 12T on August 7, 2009 for his 2nd advisement.
