But the Post has been under increased scrutiny on this score since earlier in the year, when the paper's copy desk was eliminated in a newsroom restructuring. Gallow's humor was in evidence at the June goodbye party for the eleven copy editors who eventually left the paper after accepting a severance package. This cake was created for the occasion.
