Four people who'd been sitting on a porch were shot in the incident. And while three of those injured are not in danger of death, the fourth victim is reportedly in critical condition at this writing.
Thus far, the Aurora Police Department has only released the most basic of information. APD officers didn't need anyone to call 911 after bullets were fired at around 12:45 a.m. They were near 25th and Havana -- close enough to hear the discharges for themselves. The cops soon discovered four shooting victims: three men and one woman.
At this point, the two or three perpetrators are being described only as black males who walked to the residence, then opened up on the quartet. They fled on foot.
Thus far, no suspects have been identified, nor have the victims been named. Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to phone Detective Steve Conner at 303-739-6190 or Crimestoppers, (720) 913-STOP (7867).
