The cross-outs change the city's image as they change the park's allowable activities. Changes include:
"The Mile High City" becomes "The High City."
"No Bottles Allowed" becomes "Bottles Allowed."
"Keep Your Park Clean. Drug-Free Zone" becomes "Park Drug Zone."
Despite the intoxicating attempt to repurpose the park for recreational drug use, Loretto Heights Park has always attracted people with a certain point of view. Look below to see what attraction the sign above is facing.
