Just days after Tisihia Allen was charged with second-degree murder in the October 2 stabbing death of Darius Norris, homicide investigators at Aurora Police Department are hard at work on yet another fatal case.
At around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, APD officers were called to the 10300 block of East Jewell Avenue in regard to what was described as an "unresponsive male." The dead man had gone to the address to meet with an acquaintance who wound up phoning in the crime.
Those are the main details released to date. The Arapaphoe County Coroner's Office is expected to conduct an autopsy early this week, after which the victim will be identified. In the meantime, no suspects have been named. However, the cops don't think the crime was a random act and are said to be following up on leads. Presumably, these clues could lead to the person who ended the man's life.
Folks with information about the crime are encouraged to phone Detective Alton Reed at 303-739-6068 or Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered.
