But 66-year-old Larry Roberts isn't most people.

Among the media outlets responding to the scene was 7News, which captured video from the scene:

Then, early on Sunday morning, the DPD offered this update:

Yesterday afternoon, the DPD followed up with a new development:

One piece of information in this announcement has been corrected: DPD spokesman Sonny Jackson told CBS4 that Roberts, who was taken into custody near 26th and Race, is actually 66, not 56.

At this writing, Roberts's mug shot remains unreleased.

In addition, the name of the victim has yet to be shared by the Denver coroner's office.

However, CBS4 spoke with Norman Harris, Jr., owner of the apartment building where the shooting took place.

According to Harris, a group had gathered at an apartment on Saturday night, with attendees getting into an argument at some point after getting their drink on.

"One guy tried to leave and go into another apartment," Harris told the station, "and the guy followed him in there and blew him away."

Roberts is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, the DPD notes.

Update:
The victim in this case has been identified as Edward Evans. Among the condolences included with his online obituary is this one:
Ed, Rest in Peace. We are still in shock!! Thanks for visiting our mom for the last 30+ years. Her doorbell would ring and there you were — smiling!!
Our condolences to the friend, family and loved ones of Edward Evans. Look below to see the aforementioned CBS4 report.
