Capitol Hill has long been the neighborhood where single men rent the studio apartments in which they construct their man caves. These dank dens decorated with recreation equipment, alley finds and Pabst Blue Ribbon empties become shrines to post-pubescent playthings and pastimes.

The parking strip playground pictured above indicates the close proximity of the burrow of a Capitol Hill caveman. The bondage bench (uncomfortable for sober sits) and the too-high swing hint more at the recreational needs of a manchild than an actual child. The numerous choking hazards and strangle ropes suggest that DenverMomsLikeMe would actually walk around the block to protect their kids from the "lost boys" who hang and drink here. That is unless mom is looking for a playdate of her own.
