But Lopez doesn't want any gifts. Instead, he's planning to divvy up proceeds from the bash between various weed-related causes, including legalization efforts and next year's 4/20 rally.
According to Lopez, he plans to devote 70 percent of money collected to the 4/20 rally; 10 percent to Legalize2012.com, a new effort to legalize marijuana for adults in Colorado two years from now; 10 percent to fund an early 2011 trip to Washington, D.C. to meet with Massachusetts Representative Barney Frank, who's pushing a national adult cannabis-legalization measure; and the final 10 percent to help bring a group of 135 locals to the nation's capital to take part in the National Smoke-In on July 4.
