Update: Earlier this week, we told you about a shooting that took the life of a man near 11th and Broadway early Sunday morning.

The Denver coroner's office has now formally identified the victim as Marlow Jenkins-Martin, 27, and confirmed that the cause of death was homicide. However, there have been no arrests in the case nor information about possible suspects in the shooting, which also injured a woman.

CBS4 previously announced Jenkins-Martin's name, which was shared by those who took part in a candlelight vigil in his honor. He's said to have been the father of two children.

The incident took place shortly after 2 a.m. on February 15, around let-out time for a number of venues in the area. However, representatives of Club Vinyl, arguably the most prominent nightspot in the vicinity of the intersection, stress that none of its patrons were involved.

Moreover, the shooting took place across Broadway from Vinyl, near the Arby's restaurant visible in the interactive graphic below.

As the investigation into the slaying continues, we offer our sincere condolences to the friends, family and loved ones of Marlow Jenkins-Martin. Here's a CBS4 clip about the case and let-out in the area, followed by our original post.
