Douglas County Detectives Arrest Parker Man for Internet CrimesDetectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit arrested a Parker man for crimes associated with on-line conversations he had with what he believed to be an underage female.
In early January of 2010, a Detective from the ICAC unit began chatting on-line with an adult male. The adult male believed he was chatting with a fourteen year old female. The conversations became sexual in nature and he sent obscene materials over the Internet. On 03/08/10, the detective received a call from the Kenner Police Department in Kenner, Louisiana. Detectives there were investigating similar cases with what they believed to be the same suspect. Through the investigation, detectives were able to determine the identity of the suspect; Michael R. Frazier, age 47, from Parker.
On 03/10/10, Frazier was arrested at his home in Parker and taken to the Douglas County Detentions Facility. A felony filing was submitted to the District Attorney's Office, recommending charges of Internet Exploitation of a Child C4F (4 counts) and Promotion of Obscenity to a Minor C6F (2 counts). His bond was set at $100,000 and he bonded out on 03/11/10.
At the time of his arrest, Frazier was an employee of the Douglas County Planning Division, but shortly thereafter his employment was terminated.
