View Larger Map Early this morning, the Denver Police Department responded to a call at 3356 Blake Street, an area captured in the graphic above (if you have problems seeing the image, click "View Larger Map"). There, they found a man who'd been shot to death.

No name of the victim yet, and nothing about suspects, witnesses or the like. The DPD is in the midst of trying to learn more from anyone who might have been in the vicinity at the time the lead started to fly. Read more about it below.

On November 18, 2009 at a 6:51 a.m. Denver Police received a call of a man down in the alley behind 3356 Blake Street. Officers responded to the scene and found a man, who appeared to have injuries consistent with gun shot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is being investigated as a homicide. The victim's identity is pending positive identification by the Medical Examiner and notification of the next of kin. No suspect information is being released at this time. Denver Police are asking if anyone heard or saw anything suspicious in the area of the 3300 block of Blake and the 3300 Larimer Street to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
