Earlier this week, in response to Denver Mayor Michael Hancock's proposal to arrest or fine marijuana smokers whose weed could be smelled next door, we posted our suggestions for five Colorado places that smell worse.

Then, when we shared the list on Westword's Facebook page, we asked our friends for their picks -- and they held their nose and came through big time. Below, count down our readers' photo-illustrated, extremely aromatic top ten.

Number 10: "Vault toilets in State Parks statewide." Number 9: "The area of NE Denver/Commerce City, the combined smells of the oil refinery plus the Michelin re-treading place, plus Eaton Metals (all in the same neighborhood) is enough to make anyone ill. Pot would be a great improvement." Continue to keep counting down the top ten stinky Colorado places according to you. Number 8: "The onion fields in Brighton and the refinery on 270." Number 7: "16th Street Mall -- them damn alleys. Oowee." Continue to keep counting down the top ten stinky Colorado places according to you. Number 6: "How about the entire city when it's about to snow and we get that smell blown down from the north?" Number 5: "Ride your bike along the Platte River heading north out of downtown...." Number 3: "A port-o-potty at any concert venue. PS, weed smells beautiful btw." Continue to keep counting down the top ten stinky Colorado places according to you.
