The Mile High Murder ticker may move upward again today, as the Sheridan Police Department is investigating what it describes as a "possible homicide." Yesterday, a body was discovered in a car parked on the 3100 block of South Dale Court, an area captured in the graphic above (if you have problems seeing the image, click "View Larger Map"). At this point, the department isn't releasing information about the victim's identity or manner of death. Read the SPD release below:

On June 24, 2009 at approximately 10:43 am, Sheridan Police Officers responded to the 3100 block of South Dale Ct on a report of a vehicle that was parked on the side of the road with a possible body inside.

When the officers arrived they observed a deceased person in the vehicle..

Currently the Sheridan Police Department Detective Bureau in conjunction with the Arapahoe County Crime Scene Investigators are investigating the incident.

The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.
