On Monday, Denver Homeless Out Loud held a Funeral for Human Dignity outside a locked restroom at a public park, to illustrate the difficulty that the homeless have taking care of basic human needs. But the homeless aren't the only ones who face hurdles when trying to find relief around town. Tourists, too, report having trouble finding public potties. Says Kay:
Denver needs to add public restrooms. That is the single most important thing to aid the city in keeping an acceptable environment for all citizens. Reasonable bathrooms with clean, potable water in the sinks.
