Presumably, those close to an elderly Lakewood man were shedding tears, too, but for a very different reason. The man was found dead in a trailer on Saturday -- after which Atencio, twenty, and James Cameron-Dominguez, 22, were arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. Inside, they found the body of an elderly male; he hasn't been identified yet pending contact with his relatives. And while they didn't immediately know the cause of death, they quickly came to the conclusion that a person or persons had taken his life.

Thus far, no details about how the man died have been released pending the results of an autopsy. In the meantime, police attention shifted to Atencio and Dominguez-Castor.They're described as acquaintances of the man.
The pair were subsequently arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder.
