Activists rightly tout the ability of the disabled to do just about anything. But don't expect them to use Steven Clark as a poster boy.

Clark, 33, who uses a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy, has been hit with several charges related to sexual abuse on a child -- the daughter of his caretaker. He reportedly engaged in non-consensual sex with the girl, now fifteen, over a series of years before impregnating her.

If these actions prove true, they suggest that Clark's disabilities are more moral than physical. Read a release by the Denver District Attorney's Office below:

MAN CHARGED IN SEXUAL ASSAULT ON CHILD

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has formally charged a man in connection with repeated sexual assaults on a child that took place over the course of several years.

Steven Clark (dob: 05-15-76) is charged with sexual assault on a child (F4), sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust (F3), sexual assault on a child- pattern of abuse (F3) and sexual assault on a child-position of trust-pattern of abuse (F3).

The charges allege that Clark sexually assaulted a teenage victim, the daughter of a woman who lived with Clark in a caretaker role.

Clark is currently in custody in the Denver County Jail; his bond is set at $75,000. He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Courtroom 472W on February 5, 2010, for a formal advisement of the charges.
