Chatfield High and other southwest Jeffco schools were locked down on April 20 after Earl Moore's alleged attempt to bomb Southwest Plaza, on April 21 after a bomb scare at Stony Creek Elementary that turned out to be nothing -- and again today. Why?

According to Jefferson County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Jacki Kelly, a successful search for bank robbery suspects. Kelly says the TCF bank, at 9470 South University Boulevard in Douglas County, was robbed earlier today, after which information about a possible get-away vehicle information was shared with law enforcement agencies throughout the area.

Shortly thereafter, a car matching the description was spotted near C-470 and Bowles, sans driver and passengers. Turns out they'd fled the vehicle on foot, prompting the lockdown. However, Kelly says three suspects have been captured -- IDs pending -- and the schools have been given the all-clear to re-open as usual.
