Aurora Police Department release:

Homicide Investigation

Aurora, Colo. -- On November 22, 2010 at about 11:58 AM, officers were called to the 12200 block of E Kepner Place by the management of the apartment complex on the report of a man down in an apartment.

Responding officers located an adult male who was deceased. He is identified as 22 year old Terence Scott George. There is no photo available.

Detectives from the Major Crime Unit (MCU) and personnel with the Crime Scene Investigation Unit (CSI) responded to crime scene to take charge of the scene. Detectives have executed a search warrant and have determined that Mr. George had been shot.

On November 21st officers were called to check on the welfare of 21 year old Tiffany Durst, who also is a resident of the apartment. There was a concern that she had not been heard from for two days. Officers attempted to contact Ms Durst but were unsuccessful; nor did they find any evidence of foul play.

Detectives are asking for the public's help in locating Ms. Durst. Ms Durst has not been seen since Thursday evening November 18, 2010. Detectives are concerned about Ms Durst's welfare and are hopeful Ms Hurst may have information that could help in this investigation. A photograph of Ms Durst is attached to this release.

Ms Durst may be driving a Maroon 1996 Olds Cutlass with Colorado license plates 750 VBW.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Detective Chuck Mehl of the Major Crime Unit at 303.739.6213.
