Terrence Andre McNeal, 20, Janelle Kimberly Harris, 20, and Tiera Lachae Homes, 19, are in custody and staring down two counts apiece of first-degree murder.
At this point, the arrest affidavits of the suspects remain sealed, and mug shots are being withheld, too. Moreover, the Aurora Police Department isn't saying why it was able to lower the boom on this trio so quickly after finding Durst's remains near the Cherry Creek spillway -- a discovery that spurred inaccurate speculation involving missing teen Kenia Monge.
McNeal and Harris reportedly have come to the attention of the law in the recent past -- McNeal for alleged offenses involving police obstruction and burglary, Harris for repeated parole violations, which led to her arrest on a fugitive warrant in early December.

Original item, 1:46 p.m. April 12: Because missing teen Kenia Monge is the Denver PD's top priority right now, media members quickly speculated that her body was the one found near the Cherry Creek spillway on Thursday. Such guesses prompted Aurora police to report that the victim wasn't Monge days before revealing the actual ID: Tiffany Durst, 21, who went missing in November.
News of her disappearance dates back to the 22nd of that month, when Aurora authorities found the body of Terence Scott George in an apartment on East Kepner Place; he'd been shot to death. But Durst, his girlfriend was nowhere to be found -- and she hadn't been seen since the previous week.
Durst wasn't identified as a suspect in George's death, but cops were concerned about her welfare and thought she might be able to shed some light on the case. They even released information about a car they thought she might be driving -- a Maroon 1996 Olds Cutlass with Colorado license plates 750 VBW.In the months since then, however, nothing was heard from Durst -- and because the body discovered near the spillway on April 7 had likely been in place for months, identification took some time. Now, the mystery of George's death has been compounded by another tragic homicide.
