Susan Snipes of the American Institute of Graphic Artists Colorado Chapter conceived of tonight's Green Salon, AIGA's environmentally conscientious quarterly networking event, as a kind of speed dating for sustainable solutions. Dubbed a "Sustainability Show and Tell," it will feature ten random presenters speaking for five minutes each and discussing their personal sustainable contributions to the community, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Denver Press Club, 1330 Glenarm Place.
Snipes notes that a few of the speakers are already accounted for, including Green Salon coordinator Sherry Graham and representatives from a wide variety of regional green businesses - Frederic Printing, Pangea Organics and Tangerine Book Arts among them. But some spots are still open to anyone who signs up, first come, first served. And after everyone's had their say, the floor will open to networking over appetizers from WaterCourse and libations from a cash bar until 8:30 p.m..
