After being named the Super Bowl 50 MVP, Bronco Von Miller headed out on a media victory tour.

Stops have included appearances alongside Ellen DeGeneres, plus Saturday Night Live, the Today show, the Grammys and more.

But now, he's about to take part in his biggest gig yet. Sources say he will soon be announced as a contestant on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars.

It's an appropriate forum for Miller, who made headlines during his super season for dancing — even when his moves drew a fine.

Among the highlights of the Broncos' October 4 win over the Minnesota Vikings, as we reported at the time, was a Miller sack dance that seemed ready to repeat a Key & Peele-inspired feat that had previously lightened his wallet, but instead turned into a comic psych out.

To explain:

In a classic Key & Peele skit, a receiver named Hingle McCringleberry celebrates a touchdown by putting his hands on top of his head and thrusting his hips, with his actions knocking out fellow players a la Austin Powers mowing down fembots.

McCringleberry is penalized for the dance because, according to the announcers, he did three hip pumps when the NFL limits the number of allowable thrusts to two.

Here's the clip:

Cut to the Broncos' victory over the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this past season.

After Miller sacked KC quarterback Alex Smith, he offered his version of the Key & Peele routine.

But just to be safe, he only pumped his hips twice.

Here's a GIF showing that moment:

Unfortunately, the real NFL wasn't amused and fined Miller $11,567 for the dance — which breaks down to $5,783.50 per pump.

As a result, Broncos Nation was eager to see what Miller would do if he got a chance to sack Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater — and he did.

Afterward, Miller put his hands on top of his head as he'd done before — then looked from side to side warily before keeping his pelvis unpopped.

Here's that moment.

As the season moved forward, Miller modified his move, adapting the dabbin' style.

He showed it off in this clip from a November game against the New England Patriots...

...and added a robotic twist the following month versus the San Diego Chargers.

The folks at Dancing With the Stars must have been paying attention.

The show's Facebook page points out that the official announcement of season 22's contestants will be made during Good Morning America's broadcast on Tuesday, March 8.

But as first reported by BSN Denver and subsequently confirmed by the Associated Press, Miller has made the cut.

It's news capable of amusing just about everyone — except maybe Cam Newton. Here's a 7News piece about Miller's Dancing opportunity.
