Bhakti Chai, a micro-brewed, fresh-pressed ginger masala chai tea company, has released a limited edition version of its chai: BARACKTI Chai, in honor of a certain someone who was just inaugurated. Brook Eddy, founder and owner of the Boulder-based company, simply added a shot of AA+ Kenyan coffee to the chai concentrate to honor Obama's roots from Kenya.

The company's interest in politics goes beyond puns. "Bhakti means devotion through social action, so the company has been committed to social action through sustainable practices, purchasing only fair trade tea, and supporting local and international nonprofit organizations," says Eddy. The company also donates a portion of its profits to various non-profit organizations throughout the year.

BARACKTI Chai can be found on the Bhakti website, at Vitamin Cottage (until February 1) and Whole Foods (until Saturday, January 24). The containers of concentrate includes a poem by Rabindranath Tagore, Nobel Prize winning poet and Indian activist.
