Monday, January 26

Erick Skokan, farmer and chef/owner of Boulder's Black Cat Bistro, is celebrating his first harvest of sustainably-raised, free-range beef from his farm. The beef will be featured in every course of this six-part dinner, and the chef will be on hand to discuss his process. Call 303-444-5500 or visit OpenTable for reservations.

Even bartenders need a night to blow off steam and party amongst their people, and tonight they have one: The Colorado Bartenders' Guild is hosting its annual Holiday Hangover on Monday at Session Kitchen, from 7 to 10 p.m. Now in its third year, the Holiday Hangover has grown to an extravaganza of fun and games including cocktails, food, tasting tables, a photo booth, a fund-raising raffle and the annual Colorado Bartenders' Guild awards ceremony. Tonight on ABC's The Bachelor, the women will go on a very muddy date for charity with the MuckFest MS mud-and-obstacle course with bachelor Chris Soules -- aka Prince Farming. The Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National MS Society will host a viewing party at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Finley's Pub.

World-renowned chef and restaurateur Richard Sandoval will sign his cookbook New Latin Flavors and serve a four-course dinner paired with Concha y Toro wines at Zengo tonight. If you don't have a seat already, you're probably out of luck -- the dinner is sold out. But you can always check to see if anything opens up.

To celebrate the release of the new book Lost Restaurants of Denver, one of the city's first Mexican restaurants is throwing a party for the history book. In the former Casa Mayan space on Auraria Campus, authors Kristen and Robert Autobee will discuss their work on the history of Denver dining culture.

The 2015 Northwest Beer Fest promises generous beer and wine samples from local producers, as well as a raucous battle of the bands on the Oriental Theater stage. Purchase your tickets on the theater's website.
