A big week for Colorado beer news, as the Colorado Brewers Guild was shaken by defections to a new organization called Craft Beer Colorado. A statement from Breckenridge Brewing and its parent company, AB InBev, was released today decrying the split and a claiming a "willingness to work together as a community" — a community that AB InBev has previously ridiculed in its commercials.

Doughnuts also got their fair share of attention as Denverites lined up for hours for the chance to win free ones at the new 16th Street Mall Krispy Kreme. And Gretchen Kurtz got the hole story from Brider pastry chef Michael Conti, who fries up a pretty mean doughnut himself.

If you don't dig doughnuts but still hunger for a good breakfast, check out the Ethiopian ful that Mark Antonation found at the Africana Cafe. Or sleep late and hit a mid-morning meal at one of our ten best brunch restaurants.
