Denver Beer Co. brings back Graham Cracker Porter today at 3 p.m. to reintroduce the Great American Beer Festival award-winning brew to those to love it and to introduce it to those who haven't tried it.
Strange Brewing starts a new weekly tradition today with its first One Barrel Wednesday. Each week, the brewery will tap something that it has only made one barrel of. Today's beer is Abbey-Normal, a Trappist-inspired 9 percent ABV ale with notes of chocolate covered orange sticks. The hop bill includes American and Styrian varieties that Strange has never tried before.
Every day this month at 5 p.m., Euclid Hall will tap a tasty treat from its tightly-packed cellar, including some rare and hard-to-find specialties. Tonight's beer is Jolly Pumpkin's Luciernaga Fire Fly. That will be followed by New Belgium Ooh La La! on Thursday, Lost Abbey Ten Commandments on Friday and Great Divide Old Ruffian Barley Wine on Saturday. Bristol Brewing in Colorado Springs will release English Old Ale tonight at 5 p.m. The "huge and hearty winter warmer" has been bottle conditioning since last August, according to the brewery, and offers "sweet caramel undertones and age-related character at every turn."

Get a taste of some unusual beer: Bull & Bush Pub & Brewery, 4700 Cherry Creek Drive South, hosts Gravity Month, tapping a new German gravity keg every Friday filled with guest beers. Today at 3 p.m., the brewery will have a cask of Amarillocan Pale Ale, which is a pale ale dry hopped with Amarillo hops.
Black Fox Brewing in Colorado Springs will release Somnombulance, a Belgian brown ale brewed with coffee beans, vanilla beans and Ghirardelli caramel, at the Bristol Brewing facility where it does its brewing.
Dry Dock Brewing, one of Aurora's primary tourist attractions, will tap two firkins of Tart Cherry Trippel, one at 3 p.m. and the other at around 7 or 8 p.m.
Saturday, January 14
Copper Kettle Brewing taps a brand-new Czech-style Pilsner today at noon. There will also be food from Crazy Good Eats at 5 p.m.
Renegade Brewing will hold a second pairing event today with Denver Pretzel Company, bringing together the brewery's Elevation Triple IPA with a pretzel made with spent grain used to brew a batch of the beer (very meta?). The pretzels are about the width of a pint glass and will be available starting at 2 p.m.; $8 gets you one of each.
Upslope Brewing in Boulder will throw a party today, beginning at 2 p.m. to celebrate the limited release of its Foreign Stout in cans. Show up between 2 and 6 p.m. and you can grab a fresh can of the roasty dark beer right off the canning line. The Boulder food truck Verde will be on site offering up fresh food as well.

Euclid Hall breaks out its Beer Bites program today from 3 p.m. to close, a weekly series running through January. Beer Bites includes three two-ounce pours of selected beers paired with three bite-sized snacks for $12.50 in the bar; today's lineup involves farmhouse-style beers.
Dry Dock Brewing will honor Benjamin Franklin's birthday today by tapping Poor Richard's Ale, a beer formulated to resemble "something that Franklin himself might have enjoyed and brewed," according to Dry Dock. Poor Richard's Ale is "a malty, corny, and slightly nutty ale brewed annually to commemorate" Franklin's birth.
