On Sunday, September 20, Westword will host DISH, its 21st annual celebration of the Denver dining and drinking scene. More than forty favorite restaurants of Westword food writers and readers will be sampling delectable dishes at DISH, including Boone's Tavern.

And this is a dish that should really fly: Boone's, which won our Best Chicken Wings in the Best of Denver 2015, will be serving Smoked Chicken Wing with Garlic Hound sauce. That dish is on the regular menu; for this sampling, Boone's will be using the presentation shown in the center of the picture above — but the restaurant says it's open to other ideas for how "readers would best like to have it served."

DISH 2015 runs from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, in Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
