After you punch out of work today, don't head home. Instead, stay downtown (or get there fast) for a trio of culinary events. Here's a taste of what's on tap tonight:

Coohills kicks off its free Beats on the Creek summer music series today with the Hazel Miller Band performing live on the restaurant's patio from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. All summer long, Coohills will host a different band on the patio overlooking Cherry Creek on Tuesday nights. Check out the complete summer lineup here.

Take a bite out of one of Denver's most historic neighborhoods from 5 to 9 p.m.this evening at LoDo Bites, a culinary walking tour through more than twenty Lower Downtown restaurants. Each location will provide small bites and drink specials, with several offering tasty desserts. Tickets are $35; grab yours and check out the list of participating restaurants at lodo.org.

A Taste of the Broncos will kick off at 6:30 p.m. today at Sports Authority Field. This tailgate-style event, a benefit for Food Bank of the Rockies, will feature some of Denver's top chefs, Broncos players and cheerleaders, live music, and more. Chef Troy Guard of TAG restaurant group will lead an all-star team of chefs from more than thirty restaurants, including Beast & Bottle, Ace, Fruition, Rioja, Mizuna, Central Bistro and many more.  The event, which is modeled after the annual Taste of the NFL Party with a Purpose that occurs every year at the Super Bowl to benefit Feeding America, will also host such guests as Peyton Manning, Von Miller, Aqib Talib and more; feature a first-ever on-field performance by the Colorado Symphony; and showcase plenty of top-notch food and drinks, including desserts on the field. Tickets are $200; get yours at denverbroncos.com
