Bruxie, the fast-casual eatery that turned the standard waffle into the base for a host of playful sweet and savory sandwiches opened less than a year ago and made our list of the ten best new fast-casual restaurants in 2014. A message at Bruxie's phone number states that the restaurant closed "due to unforeseen circumstances" and encourages customers to head to one of the waffle shop's other locations for a fix. Unfortunately for those Denver customers, the other seven outposts are all located in California.
