The past twelve months have seen the release of some truly amazing canned and bottled beers in Colorado, and 2012 is shaping up to be quite a big year as well.

For starters, Oskar Blues and New Belgium have both announced plans to release new beers in sixteen-ounce cans, while Breckenridge is toying with the idea, as well. There will also be new canned offerings from Wynkoop, Crabtree and Upslope, while Boulder's Twisted Pine will also get into the canning game for the first time.

Great Divide is planning to wide-release beers along with two small-batch barrel-aged beers, while Avery will keep rolling along with its one-off specialties. New beers from Dry Dock, Crazy Mountain, Eddyline and Odell will also hit the shelves. Not enough for you? Well then, Cooked Stave, Left Hand and Funkwerks are lining up new beers, too.

Wanna see what some of these beers will look like? Scroll through the labels below, all of which have been approved by the federal Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.
