Here's a taste of what's on the culinary calendar this week:

Monday, January 28:

Frasca Food and Wine, 1738 Pearl Street in Boulder, is featuring the wines of Peay winery from the Sonoma coast in California at tonight's installment of its Monday night wine dinner series; call 303-442-6966 for more information.

Tuesday, January 29:

Mateo, 1837 Pearl Street in Boulder, is hosting a special four-course wine dinner this evening at 6 p.m. The paired menu costs $65 per person; call 303-443-7766 for reservations.

Great Divide Brewing, 2201 Arapahoe Street, will host its monthly beer-and-cheese pairing tonight. The event takes place in the brewery's taproom and costs $24, which includes tax and gratuity. An RSVP is required; e-mail [email protected] to grab a spot.

Wednesday, January 30:

Great Divide is being featured at a four-course beer dinner tonight at Phat Thai, 2900 East Second Avenue. The menu is paired with seasonal and year-round beers and costs $50; call 303-388-7428 to RSVP.

And Frasca is welcoming two guests from SPQR in San Francisco this evening; chef Matthew Accarrino and sommelier Shelly Lindgren will join the Boulder restaurant for a special four-course wine dinner that includes a signed copy of SPQR's recently released cookbook. Seats are $150; call 303-442-6966 for reservations.

It's Crazy Mountain pint night at Lucky Pie Pizza & Tap House, 1610 16th Street. The restaurant will be tapping a variety of beers from the brewery at 4 p.m.; call 303-825-1021 to check availability.

The Bridgewater Grill, 800 11th Street in Golden, is also showcasing Crazy Mountain as part of its monthly beer tour series. The restaurant is currently offering a five-course menu paired with the brewery's beer for $40; call 303-279-2010 for more information. Thursday, January 31:
