On Sunday, September 22, DISH will dish out food and drinks from dozens of Cafe Society's favorite restaurants and trucks, as well as Best of Denver readers' winners, in the Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. And Mustard's Last Stand, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, will be slinging its "Teenie Weenie" hot dog -- a miniature version of the spot's popular Chicago Dog.

The dish features Vienna beef on a specialty-baked bun that's steamed and topped with mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, pickles and hot peppers (customized options will be available). The dog was created by Mustard's owner and Chicago-native Dan Polovin, who based his recipe on the Chicago dogs he grew up eating.
"It's very popular with kids or people who are looking for a smaller portion of our Chicago dog," explaind Polovin. "It goes great with our fresh, hand-cut fries and seven dipping sauces."
DISH runs from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sunday 22. (VIP ticket-holders get in at noon.) For more information about Westword's annual celebration of the Denver dining scene, including how to buy tickets, visit our 2013 Westword DISH site.
