As Denver's wet and wild spring continues and the South Platte River roars like the mighty, muddy Mississippi, why not head south to New Orleans -- or maybe just Greenwood Village -- and dive into a Streetcar Named Desire, the signature drink at Bourbon Street Pizzabar & Grill. Named for Tennessee Williams's feverish classic, the Streetcar ($4.95) -- made with vodka, Malibu Coconut Rum, piña coloda mix and raspberries, and served as a frozen pink slushy -- could cause your engine to overheat. While the Tech Center doesn't quite boast the history or charm of the French Quarter, Bourbon Street's carefree atmosphere, toothsome pizza options and wicked drinks have made it a local favorite. So settle in on the patio for a steamy evening of Streetcars and pecan pie -- a perfect combination for true Southern comfort. And on Friday and Saturday nights, Bourbon Street even throws in live jazz and blues. Stellllaaaaa!
