The store at 366 Broadway also comes with deals this week: It will offer free medium-sized hot or iced coffee (one per customer) and 99-cent medium lattes through September 29, which happens to be National Coffee Day. And the first 100 guests to visit today will receive $10 Dunkin' Donuts cards. As an added bonus, a few of this town's sports mascots -- including Dinger (Rockies), Miles (Broncos) and Edson the Eagle (Rapids) -- will join Dunkin' Cubby, the Dunkin' Donuts mascot, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m.
That's fifteen minutes after DIA's Dunkin' Donuts will host its own ribbon-cutting ceremony. Denver mayor Michael Hancock will be the first customer at that store, joining DIA director Kim Day (no sports mascots, although Hancock once played one) to dedicate Final Approach, a 253-space parking lot and amenity-laden building that will house not just a Dunkin' Donuts, but a zpizza, a Subway and a Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, and offer free wifi service (no free coffee, but all four restaurants will be offering free samples today). Final Approach also features a children's seating area with iPads built into tables, flight- information display boards and, perhaps most important for those who've been drinking all that Dunkin' Donuts offee while waiting to pick up travelers, indoor restrooms.
