Edge Restaurant & Bar, 1111 14th Street, is extending its happy hour this evening for a pre-sale get-together for the After Party on the Bridge -- a fundraiser for the Greenway Foundation that will take place Friday, September 13 on the 19th Street Bridge in Riverfront Park. The restaurant will offer happy-hour deals from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and you'll get a $10 discount if you purchase a ticket (normally $75) to the event. There will also be live music provided by a local DJ.

September's After Party on the Bridge event will follow the Greenway Foundation's annual Gala on the Bridge set for Thursday, September 12. And while that event is always a good party, the After Party should be a real blast, with all-you-can-eat street food, and live music by Born in the Flood (including Nathaniel Rateliff), FLASH/LIGHTS, DJ Denver Disco and DJ Chuck Lepley. There will also be performance art from Wonderbound (formerly Ballet Nouveau Colorado) and a public art installation by Community Coordinating District No.1.

Tickets to After Party on the Bridge can be purchased on the Greenway Foundation website for $75, or at tonight's pre-sale party for $65. And proceeds will benefit the nonprofit's efforts to continue to develop the South Platte River.
