Four Top Culinary Events Today Feature Sips, Soup and Chefs Jeff Osaka and Jen Jasinski

Beast + Bottle will hold its last collaborative dinner of the season, closing out its Mutiny at the Bottle series with guest chef Jeff Osaka. Osaka, formerly of Twelve and soon to open the highly anticipated Osaka Ramen, will be taking over the kitchen at Beast + Bottle to prepare a five-course meal with optional wine pairings. The cost is $75, plus $25 for the wine pairings; call 303-623-3223 to make your reservations.

The LoDo District's second annual tavern tasting event, LoDo Sips, will run from 5 to 9 p.m. tonight, when participating restaurants will offer food samples and small-plate specials as well as tastes of mostly Colorado brewed, distilled or locally distributed beer, wine and spirits. Tickets to LoDo Sips are $35; buy them or find more information at lodo.org.

Souper Bowlder, an annual fundraiser and collaboration between local potters and local businesses to raise money for the Boulder County AIDS Project's food banks, starts at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Boulder Distillery. Tickets are $25 and include bread, soup and a handmade bowl; grab your tickets here.

Chef Jennifer Jasinski from Rioja, Bistro Vendome, Euclid Hall and Stoic & Genuine will be providing d'oeuvres and dessert for guests at Chefs 180 tonight; the dishes will be accompanied by local beer and wine. Things get cooking at 7 p.m. at Cafe 180; tickets are $75 and the proceeds will go toward Cafe 180's efforts to address hunger. Get your tickets here.
