"It's been crazy," says regional franchise operator Brian Pyle. "The line's out the door and the drive-thru is wrapped around the building, but the staff is executing everything perfectly."
The Wichita-based burger chain's first metro location opened in September 2009 at 2660 West Belleview Avenue in Littleton, and then Freddy's opened two spots in Aurora in 2010 and 2011; there are also locations in Monument and Longmont. In addition to this second Littleton spot, two more Freddy's are slated to open in metro Denver this year -- one in Highlands Ranch, one in Thornton -- with one also coming to Loveland soon.
"We'll have thirteen locations in this area over the next few years," notes Pyle, who's in charge of the Denver metro territory. "The plan is to have them all open by 2014."
