Friday Night Bazaar, the weekly indoor craft, music and food market started by TheBigWonderful partners Josh Sampson and Ben Baruch, was just getting rolling last spring at 3530 Brighton Boulevard when June rains flooded the building and forced a temporary end to the festivities. But after a few months of scouting out new locations, the event is back starting tonight — as Night Bazaar Denver this time — in a new home at 2450 Larimer Street.
The reason for the name change is that the Bazaar will now run from 5 p.m to 2 a.m. on Fridays and 5 p.m. to midnight on Saturdays. Night Bazaar describes itself as a mixture of anything from "artists to chefs to jazz-rock fusion bands...crazy cocktails, farm-fresh food and Colorado-native crafts." While the original location offered indoor food booths, expect food trucks at the new incarnation.
In addition to the multi-media Friday and Saturday night markets, the Bazaar will also be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, although strictly as a craft and flea market, without the booze.
The Bazaar will run every weekend from tonight through at least March 1 next year.
