The First Friday Art Walk on Santa Fe may be about the art, but this year, it's also a chance to sample the goods of many of the mobile vendors and food trucks in the city, which post up and proffer cupcakes and hot dogs to the masses fighting their way through galleries.

Gastro Cart, though, probably got the sweetest spot of all: on the Infinite Monkey Theorem patio, 931 West 5th Avenue, where owners Mike Winston and Brian Hume make specials, like sweet and tangy ribs, to pair with the urban winery's offerings. Those morsels are on the menu in addition to Gastro Cart favorites, like tacos and gyros.

The guys will serve up the goods from 6 to 9 p.m. under the heady beats of a local DJ, while you get your buzz on before dealing with the hordes of people who come out for the art part of this event. And with a party like that, you may find yourself skipping the paintings to keep eating and drinking.
