This isn't the first time that the Boulder-based Hapa has used clever advertising and current events to pull people into its restaurants. In 2007, the eatery ran ads poking fun at Barry Bonds, who was about to break Hank Aaron's home-run record, declaring Hapa's meat to be steroid-free. The Boulder location also gave out orange underwear with a prominent "Hapa" stamp during the People's Republic's infamous naked Pumpkin Run. And in 2009, Hapa printed ads in a number of publications (Westword among them) with maps that showed where the Hapa locations were in relation to the then-new medical marijuana dispensaries popping up all over the place.In other words, this is one restaurant that's determined to be at the forefront of every stoner's mind once the munchies start calling...
