In honor of Earth Day, participating Starbucks stores are giving free brewed coffee or tea, hot or iced, to everyone who brings in a reusable mug or tumbler.

But the big news today is the return of Alfalfa's to the same Boulder location at 1651 Broadway where the store first opened in 1983. And not only is it back in its original spot, but it has one of its original owners: Mark Retzloff, who'd left Alfalfa's -- then a chain of stores -- in 1990 for other ventures. Alfalfa's later merged with Wild Oats, which was acquired by Whole Foods four years ago, giving Retzloff the chance to get his original spot back. Doors opened at 7:30 a.m. today; click here for more information,.
