A number of tasty events will be cooking around town this weekend, including a huge pop-up pub courtesy an Oregon brewery, a bazaar for caffeine connoisseurs, and much more. Dig into all the delicious details below.    

Friday, October 16

Museo de las Americas is holding a special Spanish happy from 5 to 8 p.m. today, when MSU Nutrition professor Bruce Rengers hosts a tasting of Southwestern dishes. Guests can snack and practice their Spanish skills while mingling. Following the tasting, there will be a print-making workshop with by Artemio Rodriguez. For more information, check out museo.org

Cheeky Monk on Colfax is holding Feisty Fridays starting at 6 p.m. today; the evening will feature a specialty cocktail made with spirits from Fort Collins Feisty Spirits. 

Frasca Food and Wine serves up a Tastemaker Dinner with guests Elisabetta Nonino and Lorena Tosetto of Petrussa, giving diners an intimate opportunity to get to know winemakers over a meal paired with the Petrussa wines. The dinner is $235 per person; call Frasca at 303-442-0608t.  

Saturday, October 17 

Start your Saturday off right with a caffeinated crash course in Denver's coffee scene during the Grand Coffee Bazaar today in the parking lot of Our Mutual Friend Malt & Brew. The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon, will feature tastings from twelve Colorado coffee roasters, multiple breakfast foods, craft beer, a specialty coffee bar and a chance to learn about the roasting and brewing process. Tickets are $20 and include tokens for brunch, a specialty coffee drink, coffee sampling, a morning libation and a one-of-a-kind mug. Get tickets and all the details at grandcoffeebazaar.com.   

Oregon's Deschutes Brewery is rolling into town with a pop-up street pub of epic proportions. The pub will be pouring beers from over 40 taps, and also offering food, live music and even kids' activities —  all in the name of charity. Deschutes will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the event to Bicycle Colorado. The pub will take over 21st Street from Blake to Larimer streets, from 2 to 10 p.m. Admission is free; for more information visit deschutesbrewery.com.  

Bonacquisti Wine Company is celebrating nine years of pouring wine on the north side today from noon to 5 p.m. The celebration will feature the official release of two Italian imports, plus the traditional Neapolitan music of Haley Dove. Sunday, October 18 

Spend your Sunday funday soaking in more than just the sun at today's Hot Tub Social at DADA Art Bar. There will be food trucks, music, happy hour specials and, of course, hot tubs! Bathing suits and towel purchases can be made onsite and there will be no extra charge to dive in. You can soak it all in from 6 to 10 p.m. today. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.

Zeal Restaurant and Cultured Colorado are teaming up to present Beyond Kraut: Mastering Technique and Flavor of Vegetable Fermentation. From 3 to 5 p.m. students in the hands-on class will learn all about vegetable fermentation while making a few goodies to take home with them. The $25 ticket includes an appetizer, beverage, and a reusable tote bag so that you can take your veggies home. This event marks the start of the Fermentation Festival; grab your tickets and learn more here
