Il Posto, the Italian trattoria at 2011 East 17th Street, already has expanded hours (at least, by Denver standards), offering dinner Sunday through Thursday until 11:30 p.m. and until midnight on Friday and Saturday, and now, the buzzy Uptown restaurant has stretched its daily happy hour to include an extra 30 minutes of happy fun.

Ora felice - that means happy hour in Italian - kicks off at 5 p.m., with half-price wines by the glass, Italian-inspired cocktails and appetizers, including stuffed calamari, braised pork belly, walnut-crusted scallops and Manila clams with cumin, sunflower sprouts and Meyer lemons. Il Posto's happy hour deals, available every day until 6: 30 p.m., are valid inside and on the terrific patio, which qualifies as one of the best people-watching squares of sidewalk in the city.
