After a few delays, Jet Entertainment Group is slated to open Pizza Republica, its restaurant in the Landmark project in Greenwood Village, on May 8. According to the optimistically present-tense description on Jet's website, "Pizza Republica focuses on homemade cooking using local and organic produce whenever possible.  The marinara, mozzarella, pizza dough, and desserts are all made in house.  Pizza Republica's bar serves over 20 wines by the glass and over 100 by the bottle, including both well-known and eclectic selections."

Jet, which also owns Nine75, at 975 Lincoln, may get another restaurant up and running next month, too. When I stopped by "the effortlessly hip" Jet Hotel (that's from the website, too) at 1612 Wazee Street yesterday, an employee there said they've targeted May 15 for the opening of XO, the Asian noodle bowl/salad restaurant they've built onto the hotel. That project, too, has encountered some delays, but it looks like the end -- or, rather, the beginning -- is in sight.
