Baseball fans are going to find awesome deals today on America's favorite light lagers at LoDo bars and restaurants. Awesome, awesome deals. But if you are looking to drink something else, perhaps a deliciously flavorful ale brewed by one of this state's amazing independent beer makers, you need to have a game plan. Here's a good start:

Blue Moon Brewing @ The Sandlot Although it will be a challenge to get to the bar amid the crush of humanity, the Sandlot brews its own beers right on site, inside Coors Field. In addition to the various Blue Moon seasonals, there will also be a Oktoberfest-style beer and a sour on tap.

Great Divide Brewing The brewery invites you to join the crowds early on opening day -- it'll open at noon -- when the tenders will pour Rockies Real Ale along with fifteen other handles.

Denver Beer Co Celebrating its first-ever opening day, the brewery opens the doors at 10:30 a.m. for pre-game beers. After the game, Uber Sausage will be serving food outside.

Wynkoop Brewing The Wynkoop has been around since before there was a Coors Field. Today the brewpub is offering an all-you-can-eat hamburger and brat buffet for $10 -- not to mention all of their own beers.

River North Brewery This brand-new brewery opened up early today as well and has the Street Eats food truck outside. You can also buy bombers of one of River North's beers to go.

Breckenridge Ballpark Pub Check out the pub -- like the Wynkoop, it predates the ballpark -- which recently underwent a full renovation and remodel. You'll find numerous Breck and Wynkoop beers on tap. Doors opened at 9 a.m.

Falling Rock Taphouse The beer bar will feature six Odell Brewing beers on the patio today, including Myrcenary Double IPA and Double Pilsner.

Freshcraft The crew at Freshcraft will be serving foot-long, German-style bratwursts slathered in mustard and topped with caramelized onions and kraut. Pair them with a beer -- Freshcraft has dozens on tap and in bottles -- or take them to go. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. You'll also get a two-for-one coupon for an Upslope Brewing Craft Lager valid with a game day Rockies ticket all season with every brat.
