Beaver Creek might be best known for its sick powder stashes, but the culinary scene takes center stage this weekend, when the resort teams up with Bon Appetit magazine to present the annual Master Chef Classic.

The Classic, which starts today, runs through Saturday, January 30, and although some events are sold out, there are still slots available for today's Master Chef Sushi Workshop, tomorrow's Iron Chef-style Master Chef Challenge and Saturday's Spago Wine Luncheon and Grand Tasting.

For $145, you can also purchase the Just A Taste package, which gets you in to both the Grand Tasting and Master Chef Challenge. Lodging discounts up for grabs, too; for more information, visit www.beavercreek.com.

For information on dozens of culinary events around town, visit our online Food & Drink listings.
