Just got word from Brian Heilman, one of the partners at the Denver outpost of Lucile's, that his spot is going to celebrate the start of Louisiana crawfish season with a good, old-fashioned crawfish boil.

"It's our first attempt at what will hopefully become an annual tradition," Heilman said. And to start it out right, on Saturday, April 25, this Lucile's at 275 South Logan Street will be blowing it out with mud bugs, beer and live music, all for one price (which has yet to be determined).  The fun will start around 4:30 p.m. -- Lucile's usually closes around 2 p.m., and the staff will need a little time to set up -- and go until god-knows-when.

For more information as details are firmed up, call 303-282-6258. And in the meantime, I'm marking the date on my calendar right now.....
