Examples of true Southern hospitality are few and far between in Denver -- but you certainly find it at Jezebel's, which will feed your soul with authentic barbecue delights, comfort food and cocktails from the friendly bar.

While the menu features specialties like tender brisket, skillet mac n' cheese and cornbread that will warm you in the winter, it's the perfect wrap-around patio that will attract patrons in the summer. Reminiscent of a Southern porch, you'll want to install yourself there and relax the hours away.

Lucky for us, there are two perfect occasions for this: Jezebel's happy hour and "Sunday's On The Patio." Happy hour runs from 3 to 6 p.m. every day of the week, with offerings like fried pickles, jerk wings, and peppadew poppers, and buckets of beer.

There is also a late-night "drinks only" happy hour that runs from 10 p.m. to midnight Thursday through Saturday.

"Sunday's On The Patio," an all-day, Southern extravaganza that extends through brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner, showcases live music from 4 to 8 p.m. on the patio, which offers prime LoHi people-watching opportunities.
