The spot has done its four days of time, and this morning, the heinous signs decreeing the suspension came down and there's movement inside.

The Provencal bistro's voicemail message confirms that it will reopen at 11:30 a.m. for lunch today, which is lucky, because the crisp fall day makes us want to sidle up to the bar for a bowl of brothy, garlicky mussels paired with a glass of crisp, appley French chardonnay.

Mateo is open from 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. For more information, dial 303-443-7766.
