At last night's Toques and 'Tails cocktail and culinary bash at Casselman's Bar and Venue, a lively crowd showed up to sample foodstuffs and sip cocktails from some of Denver's best restaurants. The event, benefiting Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign, is the brainchild of Becky Creighton, founder of Culinary Connectors, a company that hosts culinary walking tours of area restaurants. Chefs and bartenders battled against one another in a showdown that resulted in winners in four categories: Best Cocktail; Best Dish; Best Pairing; and Best Overall Winner. Corner House won the people's choice award for best cocktail and the Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar won for best dish and best pairing, while the a panel of professional judges awarded best cocktail to Central Bistro & Bar; best dish to TAG; best pairing to TAG and Le Grand Bistro & Oyster Bar; and best overall to chef Troy Guard and TAG.

Herewith, a few snaps of the highlights.
