The heavens above blessed the site of Great Divide Brewing's future location on Saturday afternoon by unleashing a dramatic rainstorm on the brewery's twentieth anniversary party. But the rain couldn't dampen the celebratory atmosphere as Great Divide welcomed the public to what will eventually be a massive production brewery, along with two taprooms, at 3403 Brighton Boulevard. Revelers enjoyed food trucks, music and tons of beer, both Great Divide's regular lineup and numerous one-off specials, including barrel-aged versions of Yeti and several sour or wild ales. Westword photographer Aaron Thackeray was there. Check out the photos below and then go to our full Great Divide Brewing twentieth anniversary party slide show to see the rest.
